Clickbank Goals Of 2009 – How Much You Want To Earn?

Inspired by a thread on Internet marketing forums, I’ve decided to share with you my Clickbank goals of 2009. Actually, the main point of this post is not to tell you my goals, because I don’t think that’s important for you, but here I want to encourage you to set targets for yourself. Having goals is vital in online businesses, because that’s what pushes you forward and makes you work harder.

Next week is Christmas, that means the New Year is very close, and it’s time to think about what you’ve done in 2008, and what you should do in 2009. This is when I start thinking about my Clickbank goals. To be honest, 2008 was a really tough year for me, because the whole year I was learning and discovering new ways of marketing Clickbank products. I’ve tried PPC, article marketing, bum marketing, and I’ve even tried to launch my own product back in February, but I got disapproved.

It’s useful to look back sometimes and analyze your previous actions. Then look at results, which you achieved, and decide whether you should continue doing that specific thing or not. Speaking particularly of my Clickbank earnings, they could be much better, if I was doing things differently few months back. I guess, we learn on our mistakes, and I had my lessons. During the 2008, my monthly income was averaging about $150-300 in profit from Clickbank. Of course, it’s nothing to be proud of, when you see guys making that amount or more daily, but compared to my earnings of 2007, there is a big progress for me.

So what are my Clickbank goals of 2009? Well, first of all, I want to stabilize my sales. I’m getting few sales weekly, but what I want to do is make sales on daily basis. That’s so far my primary target. Once, I’ve achieved that, I think aiming for higher results won’t be a big problem. When you have a working system and want bigger earnings, all you have to do is replicate what’s already making you money on different products/niches. That means, when I will be making daily sales, my next goal will be at least $1000-2000/month. As you can see, I’m setting myself realistic and achievable targets within sensible time frames. You must do the same for your goals.

I’m not saying, that setting more difficult targets is a bad idea, but it’s better when you have little goals, and you are reaching them quickly. That keeps you motivated and satisfied with your results, because when you achieve, what was planned, you have a desire to work further. This is how affiliate marketing game works.

Apart from Clickbank stuff, I will also start trading forex and stocks. Of course, I won’t do them both at the same time, because that would be too much work, but I’m planning to try both in 2009. If you are into forex already, then using Expert Adviser nowadays is crucial, and they can double or even triple your investment. The one, which I will probably use is called Forex Autopilot. It’s one of the best forex trading software on the planet. Click here to check out my review.

  1. Why do you think you can tell us these great tips on how to be better when you make such a pathetic amount of money online? you have a site called makemoneyonline4idiots when what you are making online is laughable, how can you possibly give anyone information on making money when you clearly cannot make it yourself

  2. Hi Mike,

I understand what you mean, but if I’m not making millions, it doesn’t mean that I don’t know how.

I have the knowledge, but I need to put that into action. If you find my tips useless, then that’s your opinion, because there are tons of people here, who enjoy my posts.

  5. Heya. I’m not pretty sure what you mean by: “To be honest, 2008 was a really tough year for me, because the whole year I was learning and discovering new ways of marketing Clickbank products. I’ve tried PPC, article marketing, bum marketing, and I’ve even tried to launch my own product back in February, but I got disapproved.”

You are contradicting yourself in a way or another. I mean it took you one year to achieve 150 – 300$ a month online and you’ve tried pretty much all methods and marketing strategies and still not making money?

Thing is I think you haven’t done much apart from posting in forums :)

  6. Hey Affiliate Secrets,

Well the problem is that within that 1 year, I was doing blogging on Blogger for about 6 months without even knowing what am I doing…So those months were kind of wasted, because I eventually delete the blog as it was useless.

Then the rest of the time, I tried some Article marketing and SEO, which eventually brought me where I am know.

Some people get all this stuff within a month, others it takes years to understand.

Looks like I’m in the second group…
