PPC Web Spy Review – Complete Piece Of Garbage?
Before you go on and read only part of this post, I want to make you aware of the fact that Brad Callen has personally been commenting right here and answered a lot of concerns that people have been voicing in the comments below. Please make sure to scroll right down through the comments to get his side of the story.
PPC Web Spy Review
Brad Callen has recently (December 2008) launched a new keyword research tool called PPC Web Spy, which is a little addon for your web browser. The difference between this tool and all others is that PPC Web Spy “finds” the keywords of your Adwords competitors, so you can just copy them for your campaigns. Also you get analytics, such as CPC, average position, daily clicks, etc.
PPC Web Spy Cost: The standard version of this software is free, which you can download from PPC Web Spy official website, but there is also a paid version if you upgrade to Platinum membership for $97 (as at the time of writing). However, don’t rush to the website and start downloading the software just yet, because honestly, I had some issues with its functionality and usefulness when it was first released.
So,
Is PPC Web Spy any good?
Alright, so first of all let’s start with the main feature of PPC Web Spy, which is finding keywords. It works pretty simply:
1. You go to Google, type a keyword, then Adwords ads appear
2. What you do after is you activate the software by clicking the little icon in the right bottom corner of the browser (after you installed the plugin)
3. Then click the “Search” button
4. Now you get a green “View Keywords” button below each Adwords ad
5. When you click on it, the software *magically* shows your competitors keywords.
If you watch the video on the website, you will see that Brad gives an example of how PPC Web Spy works. Pay attention to when he shows the keyword list, that he gets, when he uses the software to find the keywords of the ad ranking #1 for “internet marketing”. In standard version you get only 10 keywords in the list, which I thought was a little bit useless. Anyway, take a look at the “do it yourself email marketing” keyword, which got max cpc of $14 and average cpc of less than $1. If you have ever used Adwords, then you will know, that this is very difficult for the average person to achieve. Then there is another keyword – “email list”. Obviously a very high-traffic keyword, but despite that, the example ad is ranking on 3rd position and getting only 3 daily clicks. Personally, I think those stats and keywords are a bit fishy and I just wonder if these are really “accurate” results…
So in my opinion the main feature of PPC Web Spy is somewhat suspect, but could be useful if you are really into Adwords to make money online.
However, hold on, there is more stuff, but I am skeptical about whether it will be more useful.
In the software, there is a little built-in feature, which says “Suggest More Keywords”, that appears once you get some competitors keywords. All it does, it just takes you to Google External Keyword tool and makes a keyword based or URL based search. Honestly, does anyone who knows anything about the make money online business need that? I guess it’s convenient to be able to do the search at a click of a button, but I was hoping for more.
Also, when you do a search on Google with PPC Web Spy you also get a drop-down box below your search query, which if used, will show the destination url of the currently displayed Adwords ads. You could just click on the ad or copy the link and paste somewhere, if you don’t want the advertiser to pay for your click.
Another feature is that the software displays Clickbank, Amazon or PayDotCom logos next to the Adwords ad if the advertiser is an affiliate of one of those networks. Personally this isn’t useful as I can often tell just by looking at the ad and without even going to the advertiser’s website whether the person is an affiliate or not. But other’s might not be able to spot the affiliate so easily, so it could be useful for them.
What about the upgrade?
PPC Web Spy Platinum
If you upgrade to Platinum, there appears to be two main things you get:
1. Bigger list of keywords with “accurate” stats
2. Your affiliate links will be displayed on #1 and #2 positions in Google, whenever a person searches for something.
I don’t have a lot to say about this feature because I haven’t used it, but I think at least the second feature sounds interesting. The thing is, in order to make this work, you need to refer people to PPC Web Spy using your referal link, which you get in the members area, and the person needs to have the software installed in their web browser for this feature to work.
I have to say that because the potential people interested in this product are internet marketers and PPC users I expect this “feature” will probably not work very well. I mean, obviously when they join they will also find out about this tool and know that when they click on the first two links appearing in Google they are activating someone else’s affiliate links. I guess if you can get enough people to sign up under you…
I am a bit disappointed in the quality of this free product, seeing as though it was from Brad Callen. He’s developed lots of great products, such as Affiliate Elite, SEO Mindset and SEO Elite. But in my opinion PPC Web Spy has been a let down compared to these. I’m really disappointed, but I will try to get back and update this post if Brad makes any updates to the product in the future.
Anyway guys, this is my opinion about the software, and if you think that it’s better than I described it (or worse) you can let me know in the comments.
UPDATE – don’t forget to scroll down to see what Brad had to say about PPC Webspy in answer to the comments below and add your thoughts/experience with the software–>

Ok, this is reallly crazy. I got an email where someone was really getting excited about this software. So I decided to google the name, just because Brad Callen designed it. Then, I stumbled across your review and the one from http://wereviewonline.com/2009/01/ppc-web-spy-review-get-it-for-free-with-3-extra-bonus/
As you can tell, your guys have different point of views about the software. So before I go on and get it, please tell me if the free version of this software is really that bad. If it is, what would you recommend me to get?
Also, your page is on the first page of google, how come no one is commenting on your post. How come they not trying to prove you wrong. Who Knows? You probably right after all.
Hey Patrick,
Don’t forget that this “software” has a regular affiliate program as all Clickbank products do. So if you refer people, you will get commissions. That could be one of the reasons why there are so many positive reviews around, because people want to make money with PPC Web Spy.
I’d be really keen to hear what you think after downloading the free software and trying it out.
Did he really spend $127,000 developing this crap?
Dave,
I can’t tell you anything about the costs, because I have no idea how much would such software cost, but I won’t be surpised if Brad uses that figure to make the software look very expensive, while it’s free…
Thanks for your answer, I decided not to download it after all.
Thanks for the honest review. My site is for new marketers and I try to provide the best internet marketing advice possible. No crap just useful information and products for new marketers.I review what few products I promote on my site but it gets expensive buying so many products. It is great to find someone providing honest reviews of marketing products. Thanks so much.
ps I bookmarked your site so keep up the honest reviews
Thanks so much for writing (and posting) this. Brad has such a following that if he told you the sky was full of polka-dots some people would believe it.
I did download the free version to test it out and was royally ticked off that I all of sudden had these new organic listings at the top of the page that went to “ppc web spy” affiliate links.
Same color as the organic listings, nothing to note that they were anything other than organic listings…
…I can’t believe that Google would go along with this. I think its deceptive and downright wrong. I’m uninstalling immediately and refusing to take part in what I believe is something incredibly underhanded.
Whew! Feel better once I found a place to rant.
- Kristine
Hi,
This was great review. I personally signed up for the standard version, after receiving an email from the guy himself.
As usual, I was directed to the upsell page for the “platinum” version. And the more I thought about how the feature for No. 1 and No. 2 positions could benefit us, the more I realised it was crap.
That’s the reason why I googled for reviews on the software and came upon your page. Thanks for confirming on what I suspected all along.
Keep up the good work!
Thanks for your comments Kristine and Andrew.
The funny thing is, that I was actually going to download this software too, but before doing that, I started to think about what’s so good about it.
Brad’s marketing strategies are VERY clever, and before you purchase or get anything free from him, you really need to think whether it’s worth your time.
Cheers
I have to admit when I first loaded the software I checked the adword keywords from my niche and found some really unusual results. I mean words that are way off.
I live in Australia and know most of the companies in my niche and found they were supposedly promoting german websites and all sorts of crap. This made me think something isn’t quite right here.
I then nearly thought the platinum one must have the ‘goods’ but did a search and found your honest review. Thanks for being honest. I feel you have confirmed my initial thoughts.
Good one.
Bravo for your honest-to-goodness review. I, too, have known of Brad Callen’s products and used them in the past. I considered this free tool, but found your review by accident when looking for more info before I would download the freebie he offfered. You hit the nail on the head about this product when I looked closer at it. Upon close reading of his terms of service for it (shown in the signup box) I didn’t like some of that wording – seemed something not right here.
Hey, I just wanted to say again how much I really appreciate your honesty and integrity
I have been asked to be a jv (my first time) for a traffic generation course and I just received my review copy and you best believe my review will be a no holds barred, straight up honest assessment
regardless of profit motive.
Terry
I got hooked and then realized when I upgraded that this is a piece of crap. With buyer’s remorse, I asked for my money back. I received a message from their service desk saying it would be refunded and they closed down my account.
Unfortunately, the PPC Web Spy icon is still in firefox with no seeming way to uninstall it. I went to my control panel and can’t find the uninstall. I did a search and couldn’t find the uninstall neither.
Can anyone give me advice> I wrote to their help desk, but no answer has come in the last 24 hours. I guess the other choice is to reinstall firefox.
Hey Rich,
It’s really simple. This software is a Firefox addon, so just go to Tools > Addons and uninstall it from there.
Best of luck
I was also stupid enough to believe the hype, but after trying the software for a couple of days I realized too it’s worthless. I don’t who is a bigger schmuck, me or Brad Callen for selling this POS tool. Oh, and I asked for my money back (purchased the upgrade, doh!) and he doesn’t answer any emails. I tried three times, threatened complaining to the CC company about him, no response. I will trash him…
I thought I was alone in this world, thanks God I’ve found people who think the same way.
I think we should make sure this post gets to #1 on google for “ppc webspy review” so everyone will know… (I will digg it, stumble it, buzz it, bamboozle it and everything in between!)
I was referred to it by Frank Kern and since I “usually” trust the guy I was almost going to install it. Luckily my browser warned me about what I doing, this is what it said:
“Malicious software can damage your computer and violate your privacy”
Malicious Software?! That’s exactly what it is…
…and if Brad could make such a sneaky software, what tells me there’s nothing else in it that I don’t know…
Anyway, I’m disapointed in Brad, I’m disapointed in Frank.
Is integrity still alive in the internet marketing world? (did it ever even exist in the first place)
Good review. Brad C has disappointed me a bit with this one, I thought he was one of the “good guys” as the other software he’s done that I’ve used (SEO Elite & Keyword Elite)is pretty decent. But this is crap.
chris, I’m sorry to hear Frank Kern is involved with this garbage. I used to trust him too… Him and Brad Callen should both be ashamed of themselves.
I mean someone like Mike Filsaime you expect this kind of crap from…
wow I was searching for a way to remove this piece of junk (I am new to Firefox) and came across this site, completely confirms ppc web spy is merely a skin for yet another affiliate program of Brads. Yeah I would say 99.9% of those ‘warm fuzzy reviews’ of ppc web spy is certainly affiliates just trying to peddle it for commissions. sad. OK back to work!
how do i get a refund? he will not answer his emails???
Hey Dave,
PPC Web Spy is sold on Clickbank, so if you want to get a refund, just email your receipt to them and say you want the purchase to be refunded.
Hope this helps.
Hi everyone, wow… I was not expecting such harsh criticism. I’m not here to defend the product, as I respect everyone’s opinion, but what I will do is say that the majority of comments made here are due 100% to lack of knowledge of what the software does and how it works.
1. The free version of the software returns 10 keywords for all Adwords advertisers. Data that was collected by our crawlers.
2. The free version places 1 to 2 of your ‘referrals’ affiliate links for a related product at the top of Google. The links are clearly marked, and you can turn the tool off at any time by 1 mouse click. So, if the links annoy you, turn them off. It’s as simple as that.
3. The paid version allows you to view 100 of your Adwords competition’s keywords, rather than 10.
4. The paid version does not include any affiliate links anywhere.
5. I answer 100% of my emails. In fact, I spent the entire day yesterday and the day before doing absolutely nothing but answering not only my emails, but emails sent to our support email address, as well as helped answer 80% of the support tickets myself. I am willing to bet that no product owner spends that much time answering customer questions. It’s VERY important to me that users know how to use any product we create.
6. Chris, whatever message your browser gave you is likely due to something you have installed and that message would have been given to you no matter what sort of Firefox add-on you were installing. The tool is 100% exactly like any other Firefox add-on, of which there are millions. There is no difference at all, whatsoever. If you want to uninstall the tool, again, it takes only a couple mouse clicks and you can uninstall exactly like you would any other FF add-on. There is no difference at all.
7. Richard, you must not have uninstalled if you still see the icon. That is just not possible to uninstall and still see the icon. I’m sorry. Please post your support ticket number here so that I can look up your ticket and see what you said. Likely, I’ve already read it and responded a long time ago.
The problem with negative blog posts is that it always spawns more negativity and almost always the comments/replies to the blog post are due to a lack of understanding the product being reviewed.
I definitely respect your opinion and always take to heart any negative comments made by anyone. That’s how we make our tools better over time.
Please remember that this tool is only a few weeks old. We’re working on several updates right now, on top of taking care of 55,000+ free users, which takes a lot of work. I sure am trying my best.
Here are the things we’re adding right now:
1. Adding a link next to each keyword so users can see the cached page on Google when the Adwords advertiser was found for the specific keyword.
2. Adding better logic for narrowing down which keywords advertisers are bidding on. It works pretty good right now, but will be much better in the next few weeks.
3. Likely changing the overall look of the tool to something brighter and more upbeat for aesthetic reasons.
Anyway, thanks for listening. Hope you all have a nice weekend.
Brad
One final note worth mentioning: A few of you have said you’ve tried contacting me but I don’t respond… Where are you emailing/contacting me because I’m definitely not receiving it if I didn’t respond.
Thanks for telling the truth! I had installed the free software and also felt it to be useless since on nearly every ad I clicked on it gave no results because the advertiser hasn’t been using Adwords for long enough. Also, I noticed immediately that the #1 links were affiliate ads put in by the software. What a pathetic way to try and make money. It’s actually really sneaky. Also, it’s hard to uninstall. It took several tries before it’s gone from my browser. Total piece of crap.
Hey Brad,
Nice to see you around and thanks for taking your time to comment here.
I understand, that you are trying to make your software more useful and better, but the fact is that it’s not functioning as it is supposed to.
Of course, free version has less features compared to the paid one, but there is no point of going for paid, if you still get the same quality data, but just in bigger quantities.
The problem is that the main feature, which is finding competitors keyowords is not reliable, and if that’s not working, then the rest is not important.
Cheers
Could you please provide some suggestions on improvements? I’ve been using the tool for several months and it does exactly what I need. If you could let me know what would help make it more useful for you, I’ll most definitely see what we can do about adding to/improving it. Thanks.
Concerning finding competitor’s keywords, the #2 feature addition on our list right now is improving the quality of keywords. Right now, “some” of the data you will see could be a mixture of keywords from more than 1 affiliate of the product being advertised. For my purposes, this has been more than enough to give me a very solid starting point for my Adwords campaigns, but we’re definitely working right now on improving this logic.
Anyway, if you wouldn’t mind, please post some suggestions on improvements here. I’m all ears
Thanks.
Brad
I’ll admit, it’s very frustrating to hear a comment as silly as “it’s hard to uninstall”. It is a firefox addon. If you’re having problems uninstalling a Firefox addon by clicking your mouse literaly 2 times, then unfortunately, you’re probably going to have a hard time understanding how to use the tool effectively. PPC Web Spy works with google.com and google.co.uk, just like any other tool that provides similar results. Kelly, could you please provide some sort of comment to help improve the product, instead of making generalities that provide no value to those reading? (i.e. “it’s actually really sneaky”) without saying why you think so provides to information for me to bridge the disconnect of what you’re not understanding and why you think it’s sneaky. There are videos of the “minor” affiliate link feature throughout the membership site. As well as the TOS. As well as the links are clearly marked. It is very transparent, but clearly not transparent enough if you truly think it’s “sneaky”. Please tell me why so I can change something. Thank you
Kelly, I made a video to show you how basic it is to uninstall any Firefox addon. I can understand if you’re not very familiar with the firefox web browser, that you might not know how to uninstall an addon, but watch this video as it’s literally only a couple mouse clicks to uninstall any Firefox addon, including PPC Web Spy. Again, this relates to ANY firefox addon. This tool is no different than any firefox addon that you would ever install.
http://screencast.com/t/iwh5Xx7qOy
Thank you and looking forward to your comments on how we can improve our tool for you.
Brad, you know your stuff better, and I’m not really a programmer or software developer to tell you exactly what to do
All I can say is just make sure in the future that the tool delivers what it promises.
Thanks
Well all I can say is I run several Adwords campaigns for my bricks & mortar businesses. So I downloaded this software and ran it against my own ads and those of my competitors.
The results were total and absolute garbage, if anyone in my industry is bidding on the keywords this tool brings back, then they deserve to go bust very quickly.
In fact I’d go so far as to say if they are true I’ll get Mr Al-Fayed to let me bare my backside in Harrods window.
Just my findings, yours may differ.
I see that Brad has *finally* answered some of the critizism, that’s great. However, his response to getting a refund for those of us that spent $97 on the “premium” version is “go to Clickbank and tell them you want a refund”. Wow…really? that is total customer disservice in my book. I have heard good things about his other software, but after this experience I don’t know if would take the risk. My honest opinion, hope others find it useful.
Hey Doug, not sure what you’re talking about. I would NEVER ever say that, period. What are you talking about? I would never in a million years say “go to clickbank”. Please show me what in the world you’re talking about.
Hi Phil, are you running the standard or platinum version. There is a HUGE difference.
Our results come from our partnership with Spyfu, which is a very very credible source. They are funded by many elite colleges here in the US, and we’re constantly improving the results.
Again, this is version 1.0. The results will only get better and better. The tool is only 3 weeks old and most definitely does provide useful information. I know because I use it daily myself. 100% of everything that we sell, I first create and use myself.
Anyway, if anyone has any other questions, please contact us through our customer support desk: http://www.bryxensoftware.com/support/
This way we can provide you with help on whatever it is you need help with, without coming here to make false claims based on hearsay or lack of understanding. Things like 1. I don’t answer my emails 2. The software won’t install/uninstall 3. and so on…
which simply are 100% false and not true.
My goal is to help you, so please contact us directly through our help desk if you have questions/concerns.
Thank you
Awe, I see…
Doug: It was said about Clickbank, not me.
Please re-read this page and you’ll see I never said that.
I have respect for everyone, but lately I’m starting to lose my respect for Brad Callen. Not because of his products but because of the way he treats people. Even tough, I’m not a guru or Mike Filsaime or Frank Kern,I believe I still have the right to be treated like a normal human being.
Here is my story,
When Mr. Brad launched his product(PPC Web Spy), I got a couple of people who joined the system under my name. Within the first day I had 5 users in my downline. According to Brad when you get 5 people in your downline, you should get update to a Silver Membership but for some reasons I never got that membership.
So I decided to contact Brad about it by joining his forum.First, I started a thread about the issue and Brad asked me to send him my personal info regrading my account( User and Pass). So I went along and gave him the info.
Then a day later, I received a message from Brad stating that everything was under control and that I was a silver member now.But here’s the funny thing.Right after that, I tried to access my account to verify the info that he told me, but for some reason I was denied by the site. What a coincidence? Getting banned right after I requested my free silver membership.
I sent another message to Brad asking him to look over the issue for me but he never reply to me and it’s been more than a week now.
So here I am now Brad, what is your answer to that?
This is not your site and I hope that Steven will publish my comment. You know very well who I am Brad…..I hope you will have the gutts to give me an answer or just have the gutts to tell me you banned me from the site because I was requesting what I deserved.
Thank You,
To me, the comment posted by “webreviewonline” is a lie in order to get their blog comment on this page and a link to their review about this tool, so they can rank highly in Google and earn commission.
This is getting a bit out of hand. Just like the next guy, I appreciate honest feedback, but the post by “webreviewonline” is a 100% false, lie. It makes absolutely no sense why I would ban someone from the forum that I HELPED.
1. Please show me your message that you sent me
2. Please provide proof that what you’re saying is true.
3. You stated “a day later, you received a message from me stating everything was under control”. That’s probably the only truthful comment you wrote here. Why? Because I probably responded to you ASAP and HELPED you, because that’s what I’ve been spending the last week of my life doing with PPCWS customers. Why on earth would I ban your account? That just makes absolutely no sense.
By all means, if you can show proof that what you’re saying is true, post it here for everyone to see.
And again, if you have problems, contact our support team. This is what our staff does and why they get paid. I listed the URL in this blog post.
Steve, again, could you please remove such ridiculous slander that makes no sense and could not be true? You can clearly see they’re using the anchor text “ppc web spy” in their blog comment to rank highly in Google for that keyword and get people to purchase through them, all the while making up a completely false statement (i.e. lie).
I don’t want to associate with anyone doing such a thing.
Brad
P.S. Please post your username and I’ll post a screenshot of your account within our admin area. If what you’re saying about not being able to login IS actually true, you’re 100% not inputting the right password.
Look, I’m here to help people as much as I can, but when ridiculous statements like that are made and accuse me of banning someone for no reason, I take great offense. I would NEVER ever do that.
Steve, something needs to be done about this blog post, as it’s getting a bit ridiculous here. I hope you can see what I’m referring to.
Brad
I’m not a liar Brad, so don’t call me one.And by the way, the reason why I posted my site here is because I wanted to show everybody that yes I was promoting
your product because I really trusted you.
Here is the email that I used to promote your system: rulx007@hotmail.com———You can go verify it my friend.
Please show everyone a screenshot of my account and please show them the right screenshot my too.
By the way, you said that my password is wrong, I chose the option forgot my password from your site, so they could send it back to me but guess what,
it never happen…..I never received my password, it seems to me that my account was totally deleted.
Brad, trust me I don’t need to post my url here to get rank in google….google PPC Web Spy Review, I used to be on the first page for a while
but I just dropped to page 2 because I stop promoting the system.
I’m not a liar Brad and I’m not trying to give you a bad reputation but I just want to know the truth. What happened to my account? If I was trying to
do something bad to you, I could just keep promoting your site and link my review to Steve’s review here.
Thank You.
Ok it’s me again. In the previous message Brad asked me to show proof of the message we exchanged and I forgot to show a screen shot…. So here they are…
Screenshot of messages that me and Brad exchange through his forum:
Proof1:http://img7.imageshack.us/img7/2462/proof1vj5.jpg
Proof2:http://img7.imageshack.us/img7/183/proof2ds3.jpg
Proof3:http://img186.imageshack.us/img186/2298/proof3ck0.jpg
As you can see Brad, I am no liar and I know what I’m talking about. So don’t call me one. I have show you my proof now tell me the truth. Is my account is still here. Send me my password back.
Thank You
Brad,
Looking at the proof that WeReviewOnline provided, I wouldn’t say he’s a liar.
If you really value your members, then you should sort this problem out quickly.
Cheers
Ok, a few things:
1. If you look at the images, I responded to help you within 25 minutes. That’s extremely fast.
2. How can you say you were “banned” when you said you could login to your account to check because you didn’t know your password? Accusing me of banning you is 100% not true. The least you could have done is state that you forgot your password and I didn’t reply to you within a couple minutes like I did the first time. I’ll give you my personal email account: bradcallenATgmail.com. Email me there and I will look up and give you your password.
And, please, the next time, don’t accuse me of doing something I did not do. That really misleads people.
Thank you
Brad
First of all I want to thank you for publishing my comments and Brad I want to thank you for answering my questions. And before I leave this behind me, here my final words on this….
Brad here are the reasons why I believed you banned me from you system earlier:
1) I stop getting access to my account right after I requested my silver membership from you. Coincidence or not, you tell me.
2) Everytime I requested my password from the system, it was never send to me. It looked to me that the system didn’t even recognize my username anymore.
I never meant for things to get ugly like this. And this is why I contacted your personally at the first place. All I needed from you was an answer and instead of giving that answer you ignored all the facts and called me a liar.
I get it, you Brad Callen and this review got you a little bit nervous and mad but next time someone said something about you, I hope you will verify the info before you go ahead and call him/her names.
I hope when I email you later on, I’ll be able to get my password back.
Thank You For Everyone Time And Understanding,
WeReviewOnline.
I hope you can understand why I got frustrated. It’s because of the continued false slander. Here I am trying to help, when I’m accused of banning you from our forum. Instead of you simply stating that you couldn’t login because you didn’t know your password and because you couldn’t retrieve your password, you immediately said that I banned you. 100% not true.
I will always take offense to being accused of something that is just plain false. I will look for your email. I have not received anything thus far. Please email today, as I am leaving on a family vacation with my wife and daughter on Thursday (tomorrow). If I don’t hear from you today, then you will not receive a response until I return on Monday night… So, please don’t come back here stating that I’m ignoring you.
Thank you
Hey “wereviewonline”, I just checked the “lost password” page and you’re right, it wasn’t working. Thanks for letting me know (although, it would have been nice to just tell me it was broke and you couldn’t get the password you had forgotten, instead of saying we banned you, which we didn’t)
Anyway, it’s fixed now, so you can visit: http://www.ppcwebspy.com/lost_password.php and input your email address and you will receive your password reminder within a few minutes.
Thanks
I’m glad that you’ve solved this problem.
Good luck with PPC Web Spy, Brad.
I still have not received any response to any of about 5 emails I have sent to Brad Callen, although he is still sending me his “update” emails for PPC Webspy. Also I still get the emails hawking his SEO Elite product, but I guess email is a one-way thing for him. No response! It’s also impossible for me to get my money back since I never recieved a receipt when I bought this crap…buyer beware!
Brad I sent you the email this morning and I don’t know how come you still haven’t received it.The title of the email is: PPC Web Spy Password. It might ends up in your junk mail.( I used my hotmail)
Anyways,as I’m writing this comment, I’m having another problem with your site. The password page is working and I’m really glad. I requested my password from your site and I finally received it.
But guess what now, every time I enter my login informations, I get redirected to the main page of PPC Web Spy( I cannot access my PPC Web Spy Back Office). As you can see I’m not accusing you of anything now….. Mistakes do happen and It’s probably a technical problem, so I would suggest you to take a look at it.
I will keep trying to access my account and when I finally do get access, I’ll let everyone know.
If you don’t believe me, I am willing to send you my entire login informations so you can try it yourself.
Thank You
Hey guys, I agree with you on the assessment. I have it and want to remove it and can’t figure how. It doesn’t appear in the list of programs on my PC and doesn’t respond to the right click of the mouse on the icon. If anyone knows please email me at dkearney4@cox.net
Hi Dewey,
Watch this video made by Brad himself, where he quickly shows how to remove the tool.

Hi Doug, how about submitting a support ticket so that our support team can assist you?
Email is VERY unreliable.
1. you might be emailing a non-existent email address.
2. your email might go straight to the spam folder.
3. your email might not even have been sent.
Who knows. This is why reliable companies have a support desk.
I listed the help desk link in this giant thread…
You can always expect a response within 48 hours maximum.
Thank you.
Doug: Lastly,
1. an email receipt is sent to you directly from clickbank.com, our payment process. Not us. You an email sales@clickbank.com at any time to retrieve your cb receipt number if you have lost it.
2. the emails you are referring to are “autoresponder” emails sent from an “autoresponder” account, which would explain why you’re not getting a response when you click “reply” to a non-existent email address. Please submit a support ticket.
Thank you
Brad, did you look into my problem? I’m still waiting to hear an answer from you.
If you want my login info, I can send them to you.
Hi “wereviewonline”, Please post your support ticket number and I will check to see if our staff has assisted you.
As mentioned earlier, this is not a customer support blog. Please submit a support ticket if you have not done so, as that is the fastest way for us to assist you. The help desk link is listed in this thread.
As a guess, I would say something is very wrong with your web browser if you’re trying to log in to the site and it’s redirecting you back to the homepage. When you submit a ticket, be as specific as possible.
Thank you.
It’s been 2 months since the last post. Has anybody used this PPC spy software now? Has it gone better?
Why Brad has reduce the price of SEO Elite from $167 to $49??? Is he going out of business or its just an outdated version?
Hey Hitanshu,
I personally haven’t used it since then, and not planning to.
I simply don’t like to use stuff, which “sounds too good to be true”. That’s why I stay away from PPC Web Spy and concentrate on more realistic things.
Got to say that SEO Elite is actually a useful tool, unlike PPC Web Spy.
Thanks for providing the review initially and also having the integrity to allow the discussion between the Users of PPCW and the developer Brad Callen to take place.
I can tell you from my own personal experience with Brad Callen that he stands out as someone who cares deeply about his products as well as his reputation.
Like other users here, I have purchased several of his other products and have always been impressed with his personal attention when dealing with customer queries and complaints.
My own issues were related to an incorrect understanding how the product worked.
I don’t know him personally, but I do wish that other software developers would take the same approach to developing good software products and providing solid customer service.
It appears like this negative review of PPC Web Spy has actually turned into a positive review of Brad Callen’s character. Brad is making a piece of software available and fully discloses everything that it is meant to do. If someone buys the software and is displeased with its performance, they can get a full refund. Brad coming here to defend his product and answer questions should be an indication that he is dedicated to delivering for his customers.
Dealing with so many customers, there are bound to be communication breakdowns every once in a while. It’s sad that when this happens though, people automatically assume it’s a conspiracy.
